A UK company called Path Intelligence tracks mall shoppers by picking up signals from their mobile phones. While it has no way of identifying shoppers, it does create a profile per individual, mapping out their entrance in and out of stores. The company is in talks with airports, museums, and amusement parks. Meanwhile, Fujitsu now offers motion tracking surveillance cameras.
