More srsly, there's a part of me that wants to scoff at banker$/lawyer$ who think they can just waltz out of a high-paying law/finance job and into something that may offer most others a small break (at best) after yrs/decades of tedious work, but then there's another part of me that simply regrets not having made the $$$ when I had the chance...i.e., wouldn't it be nice to have the option at the age of 35 to focus exclusively on a novel for two years?
