This is an aside titled 'Best of Muji' dated 4/19/09

The thing about Muji is they make dual-purpose items you can actually use, as opposed to the kind of stuff you’d see in Brookstone or listed in Skymall that will only collect dust as soon as it enters your home. I carry the clear rain coat with me all the time. It folds into something the size of my wallet and dries fast. The foldable shopping bag has also saved me many times. The paper notes books are several dollars less and otherwise identical to Moleskine cahiers. And the chronotebook makes to-do lists look so beautiful you might actually stick to them. Now, I’m coveting the map handkerchiefs and, after reading The Moment’s review, the folded tshirt.
