Remember warblogging? Somehow, I managed to talk about the history of blogs for nearly 10 minutes while alone in my car earlier this evening. Here’s another podcast on search referrals and breaking news. And here’s an interview with the very talented artist An Xiao as she set up for the #class show. Her blog, btw, is a must read.

An Xiao on her 1stfans project: “My project for the Brooklyn Museum aimed to look at the why of Twitter. I communicated daily minutiae, such as “AN XIAO SLEEPY” and “COFEE POT EMPTY. PLEASE ADVISE,” all in Morse code. Each tweet appeared solely in dots and dashes, but I provided an online translator which allowed readers to simply copy and paste the code to get a response in the Roman alphabet.” Jonathan Lethem is curating the Brooklyn Museum’s Twitter feed art project for the month of April.
